Machine Standing Calf Raise


Instructions

  1. Position yourself on the machine with the balls of your feet on the edge of the foot platform and your shoulders under the shoulder pads.
  2. Adjust the machine so that you are standing upright with a slight bend in your knees.
  3. Engage your core muscles and keep your back straight.
  4. Push through the balls of your feet to raise your heels as high as possible.
  5. Pause at the top of the movement, squeezing your calf muscles.
  6. Slowly lower your heels back down to the starting position, allowing a stretch in your calves.
